WHAT IS RIOT?

1

Who are we?
The Research Information Outreach Team (RIOT) is a volunteer group of the Canadian Cancer Society. We are graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in cancer research labs who are specifically focused on communicating research to the public.

3

What are our activities?
Throughout the year, we volunteer at several events and fundraisers for cancer research. We encourage the public to ask us questions regarding the intricacies of research and how progress is advancing in various fields.

2

What is our mission?
Working with the Canadian Cancer Society, we communicate the impact of cancer research, including society-funded research, to you through our blog as well as public speaking events.

4

How can we be reached?
Please contact us for any questions or potential interest in our group through our contact page.

Our team is composed of post-doctoral fellows and graduate students working across Montreal in various research laboratories.
