YOUTH OUTREACH
Our youth outreach team focuses on communicating cancer research in an accessible manner for youth. In particular, our annual Let's Talk Cancer symposium is a full day event with speakers, activities, and panel discussions dedicated to engaging high school and CEGEP students.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Our team is actively involved in sharing scientific knowledge and advances with the broader community. We aim to make cancer research more accessible by organizing seminars, talks and events. We also participate in cancer awareness fundraisers and initiatives.
PATIENT TALKS
We organize a variety of events to convey knowledge and information to cancer patients and their families. The overarching aim of this initiative is to support cancer patients by promoting informed decisions and enhancing their understanding of ongoing cancer research.
SOCIAL MEDIA
The social media team serves to increase RIOT Montreal's visibility and engagement by posting a variety of content on our social media platforms. We post about our upcoming events, scientific and cancer awareness days, as well as about the RIOT Montreal team and their own research work.
VIDEO STORYBOARDS
Our "What is Cancer?" Video Series is a series of 3- to 7-minute educational videos that cover a broad range of topics relating to cancer, from basic science to clinical considerations. The target audiences of these videos are high school students and the general public.
